Water-entertainment market in Ukraine is developing rapidly, but even this rate of development is not enough to satisfy huge demand for services. Many years of Western experience show that good financial results are achieved if water-entertainment complex is in the city with a population of more than 200,000 people.

Royal Marine. Ambitious, large-scaled, innovative

By the end of 2011 in the city of Donetsk water park «Royal Marine» will be opened in Shcherbakova park, which, according to experts, is to become one of the best in the world. As was reported by Donetsk mayor Oleksandr Lukjanchenko at the presentation, this water park will be included in the list of 58 objects, which the city and the region will present to the foreign tourists during the matches of Euro 2012. However, the main task of this ambitious project is to create a unique place for active and family-friendly recreation, accessible to all segments of the population. Constructions began at the end of March 2009.

Water park opening in Chernomorka village

This season, in Chernomorka village near Ochakov, a new water park will be opened on the Black Sea coast. The opening is scheduled for June 20. This water park is located in the unique climatic health resort with resources of mineral water and therapeutic mud. The uniqueness of this region is that it has more sunny days than Sochi does and the sea temperature reaches 25-28 degrees Celsius. Nearby, are the most interesting places with archaeological monuments of the Scythians, Sarmatians, and the ancient Slavs are located. Architecturally, this water park is made in Grecian style and conveys a certain story. Six water attractions for adults and four water attractions for children will operate in the water park. Also, there are four pools of varying depth, an open-air food court and poolside water bar on the territory of the water park. At the entertainment pool, the stage is set for performances. For the smallest water park visitors, babysitting services, a separate children's playground and a place for entertainment game attractions will be provided. Health resort for children and adults "Pearl" is situated near the water park.

Water park in Kirillovka invites you to the opening on June 10!

This year the biggest in Ukraine water park will be opened (area 5.7 ha). LLC "Decor SV" is constructing this water park. A large lake with an island in the middle, a river with an artificial current, many attractions (28 for adults and 34 for children), shady alleys, chaise lounges and cafes will be on the territory of the water park. By abundance and variety of entertainment services, Kirillovka water park will be among five European leaders. Up to 1,500 visitors at a time will be able to rest in the water park. A separate building, where visitors can change and leave personal belongings under close guard will also be situated in the park. Showers and rest-rooms will be in the same building. All water used for entertainment attractions will be held in a closed circuit and cleaned regularly in a specially constructed station. The first line of water attractions is scheduled to open this season.

An amusement park will be built in Hidropark

City Council is planning a major reconstruction of Hidropark in two years. Within the framework of a program "Kiev as a way of life", water slides, cable-way, which will be called "flying trams", several pedestrian bridges and attractions island - Kiev Disneyland, will appear in Hidropark to Euro-2012, the publication "Today" reports. "The project is now under discussion. There will be public hearings, and to all decent ideas, architectural and investment competitions will be announced", - said Igor Dobrutskyj, deputy mayor. It is planned that the Dnieper descent will be connected with Hidropark by a pedestrian bridge. And on the slopes of the Dnieper, besides the homonymous metro station, another station under the name "Cables" will appear - flying trams will carry people across the Dnieper to Hidropark. In the restaurant "Mlyn" area, a small park with water slides will appear. Most likely, there will be no more than seven slides - five steep for adults, and two - for the kids. In addition, in the area of Matvejevskij and Venice gulf, several pedestrian bridges in romantic style will be erected. And on the territory of Lunapark location, an enormous "Island of attractions" will be constructed with huge roller coasters, labyrinths and rooms of fear", says the publication.

The biggest water park in Ukraine was opened in Brovary

In Brovary, near Kiev the largest and most modern water park in Ukraine was opened. It occupies the area of over 20,000 square meters (four floors), has the longest distance of water slides in the country and a unique sliding roof. Water park is opened daily from 10.00 to 22.00, weekends and public holidays - 23.00.Ticket price for children on weekdays for three hours is 60 UAH(from 10.00 to 16.00) and 85 UAH (from 16.00 to 22.00). All-day child ticket will cost 110 UAH. Adult price for three hours of stay in the water park from 10.00 to 16 will be 90 UAH, after 16.00 - 130 UAH. For the whole day adults will have to pay 190 UAH. On weekends, children from 10.00 to 12.00 will pay 75 UAH. After 12, the ticket for two hours will cost 125 UAH. Children's ticket for the whole day will cost 240 UAH. Adults on weekends and public holidays will have to pay 130 UAH for two hours (from 10 till 12). From 12.00, two o'clock stay on the weekend at the water park will cost 190 UAH. Whole day on weekends or public holidays, adults can stay in the water park for 360 UAH.

Residential area with an ice palace and a water park will be built around Lvov stadium for Euro-2012

Lviv population is very optimistic about Euro-2012. A residential area for 12 thousand residents will be built near the stadium. At the meeting of architecture and town-planning council, town-planning department of the Lvov City Council, a detailed plan for development of the territory in the area of streets Stryjskoj, Kolcevoj, Proektovanoj, Vernadskogo was agreed on April 8. Plan, developed by the institute "Mistoproekt, foresees reclamation of area of 326 ha, which is larger than the area of region Syhov. It is provided, that the administrative offices,( where Lvov City Council and Lvov Regional State Administration will move in the future), hotel and residential neighborhoods (targeted at 12 thousand residents), a hospital, schools, an exhibition center, an ice rink, a water park, helipad will be built on this territory. Trolleybus, tram and underground branches will be built there also.
